One of the coolest people I met this week was a state representative from Prince Georges County in Maryland. She is not only smart but gorgeous. She has a lovely Dominican accent and gushes "thank yous" and compliments and kindness everywhere she goes. We talked about collaborating on some health stuff and I really hope our paths cross again.
She was telling me her twin 8-year old daughters have started playing "politics" with their Barbie dolls.
"My Barbie is going to be a delegate for Obama!" one girl will say. The other will retort "Oh, yeah, well my Barbie is going to be President!!!"

My little Barbie (A, the youngest, just turned 7) was watching TV with her mom's boyfriend when a McCain ad came on. The ad gave some one-point criticism of Obama, and A said, "That's not true! Don't listen, K. They're lying."
