I didn't bring a camera. Which Megan thinks is sort of heresy. But I feel like when I have a camera, I'm too busy focusing on capturing images and I'm not actually experiencing them.
Nevertheless, I hope someone, somewhere took pictures of the Code Pink protesters vs. the Denver Storm Troopers today. Greying women in their 50s wearing all pink, handing out "Make Out, Not War" stickers surrounded by twice as many super scary police in full on riot gear.
I'm not sure if they're over-reacting or not, but I haven't seen so many police, so ominous looking, since the weeks in DC after 9/11. I haven't seen (and tried very hard!) very many actual protesters besides the ladies in Code Pink....
